My work is a persistent effort to challenge the concept of nationalism. The possibility of the annulment of a (historically or socially) fixed identity is a constant focal point. In my effort to incorporate both time and space in this quest, I work with populist myths and historical data, along with research projects involving groups of people that leave on and daily interact with water borders. Lately I have joined forces with oceanographers and marine biologists in order to investigate alternative stories of population relocation through the transience of migratory animal species.
