I consider my work to be a critique of modernity’s conservative aspects. I investigate the narratives, institutions and social structures that define identities and aesthetics, in an effort to question the constructions that are valuable to the sustainability of conservative fantasies. Between humour and seriousness, research and fiction, my work is mainly driven by popular myths and historical data. By playing, hiding and reconstructing, my artistic process produces alternative narratives through real, distorted or fake archives, academic writings and ridiculous conspiracies, pseudoscientific installations and performances.
